Although Tony Pierce doesn’t believe in writer’s block, I think it’s hard to stay motivated. It’s hard to keep yourself motivated.
There are so many things that you come across every day that just kills your morale. All the shit you take at work, traffic jams, family problems, increasing crime rate, global warming, world war 3, sexual frustration, stupid reality shows, violent movies, love songs, all of that and much more make you so depressed that you don’t feel like writing anything.
It seems like I am going through the same phase. It’s not that I don’t have anything to write about, or I am afraid, it’s just that I don’t feel the motivation to write. That’s how I look at writer’s block. It’s affected by the external factors, not internal. If the entire world was in perfect harmony, I would write every day, but the reality is different. Hence the decrease in my posting frequency.
I don’t know how long I will take to get my act together and start blogging again, but this post is an effort towards it.

We’re in the same boat man!
…..that is why it is so important to let certain things go.to release them.To cut loose.we should need to understand that no one is playing with marked cards…..
definately external factors effect what we want to do. Hope to see you blogging more. I’v been going through phases too.
well,… its nice to visit your site once in a while and go through some of your work… carry on with the work … never know that it might just be the “flutter of the butterfly’s wing” that could cause a storm half the world across… (butterfly effect theory)
take care umar.. take a break… chill.. and learn to let stuff go!
you can still control your universe by not controlling each and every aspect of it. That creates more trouble than its worth.
