they are soooooo strict, specially the lady RTA examiners, the guy examiners are prolly a little better as some guys friends told me, the littlelest of mistake they will forget it and pass you..

i failed my first try, well, because i was nervous and was going a little too fast, my turning was fast as well, my fault..

on my second attempt i was doing fine! BUT the lady examiner failed me! why??

- i was about to merge into a small road, there’s a stop sign so i was stopping SLOWLY when suddenly the lady examiner stepped on her brakes! SHE STEPPED ON THE BRAKES BEFORE I DID, and then she failed me saying “failure to stop at signs” WTF..

- the examiner ticked a box in my assesment paper saying “not ensuring road is clear before entering traffic” FOR NO REASON, what the heck i was crazily checking the road all the time!

-and also she tricked me into squeezing a small gap in the galadari main office testing area, she let me go in and then fails me..

I know what u mean, but just stick to any1 that sounds right to u, and dont waiver………. just one person’s rule , and u shld be fine………. i failed my test again today, 2nd time. though my first was bad, this time i was ok, not really bad……….. dont know how to pass in dubai…………. i was confident enough too………

hey -
im a little bummed . I keep trying for a driving lisence (this was my second attempt) and failing. While the first time it was my fault, this time I didnt really make a major mistake. However, the lady says I did. The problem is that I’ve been fed a lot of conflicting information by my driving instructors and am not sure what to do.

I’ve driven in India, South Africa and Canada for the last 5 years. I dont think it is a personal ability thing – but I am repeatedly confused by the variation in information given to me by my examiner and instructor(s).

I open my account in RAK driving license department and present my License ID in my country and instead of paying only 300+ I paid additional 500dhs for registration and they told me that that is for road test. Now, I need a guide on what to do first.. Do I still need to go to Academy and Driving school?
Please, any comments and suggestion will be great help for me…

few dayz bak i got my driving license in my 1st try.. n i got my driving license in 1 month 4m the opening of file till road test only in 1 mnth.. u just need to have a good instructor n m the lucky 1 who got damn good person 4 training… All dear fellowz try to go for automatic and jus need to follow some main points which r follows:
1.   never drive slow if shurta says drive fast u have to drive fast ( whn i gave my test i was driving 90 km/h..)
2.   proper use of mirrors.. specially center mirror n need to see center mirror after couple of seconds..
3.   Chk ur mirrors before movin your car ( in my case shurta siiting on front himself change the direction of center mirror to down: to check me whether m gonna correct this position or not)
4.   Do all the necessary things when u stop, dnt forget to pullover the handbrake n hazard lights where its necessary.
5.   last but not least DONOT afraid of shurtasssss… they r normal people lyk us… most of the people afraid of them n get confused n did silly mistakes which cause them to failure…

hey i have passed on my 5th attempt,… dint wanna tellu guys i failed in my 4th.. but its been 2 weeks that i have got my license but still not gone for a ride… i guess all teh pressure in gettin a license just weared off my mood for driving…:(
anyway this weekend i am goin for a long drive to abudhabi.. hope i revive my thrill in driving then.. … best of luck for all those pursuing for license… ul get it some day.. i surely thght i wont but i did and so can u … GUD LUCK!!

Yes, Some reason to say there are not 100% to give you License But ,Yesterday , My road test the Egyptian he who made mistakes examinor corrected and speak with him in Arabic and adviced him If you tested in in Jumaiera or most advance Road You can’t pass at all. You see here only small road what we testing you are making so many mistakes how can i make you pass it’s all talk abic.
next indian He is very second man to draw the car who just take U turn and again U turn and parked. Next me bad situation I have tested many ways to left and right , again lest and right and bypass road to parking. It was good up to parking then examinor asked me to take back Started to take back unfortunately another Vehicle who don’t have manners to thing about us he suddently taken Examiner put the break and asked me you don’t know he is taking of course he is right then I started panic stop sign I didn’t stop then another warning. Then keep going to smoothly without any mistakes. But finaly we reach to destination then He told me I hope you will pass next time ok that’s fine But next I waited to see that Egyptian Results of course He also failed and told him You have to make more lessons. and Third man he who very lucky to Pass.
What I ‘m feeling here Examinor who testing us He was very good. and same time who is getting First and Second in order They can get easy pass. this is what i Found.

NO I dont think that is true thou frankly speakin teh 1st 2 attempts of mine were like wat u mentioned.. all of us in teh car in the 1st 2 attempts failed.. and today being my 3rd attempt one girl passed and the rest of us failed.. frankly i thght she dint do as well as the rest of us… she was way more slower than the rest of us…but she passed and the rest of us had to be failed AGAIN..
next week is my 4th attempt… i tght 3rd time is teh lucky charm but unf it dint work for me hopefully 4th time will do some gud… cos its frustrating and completely loosing my confidence to get a license.. i have a strong feelin that once and if i do ever get my license i will have absolutely no mood to drive anymore…

No body is perfect. Examiner from RTA can make mistake…it is unfair that you will pass if the examiner in good mood or you just lucky. Hope Dubai police will be the examiner, it will be fair…what i found is that 3 people on the same car will get same result (pass/fail), I hope it is not true because I never heard on the same car with different result.
