umar, neglect of 40 years cannot be overcome in a mere decade. things are progressing, and even though the progress is slow coming, its there.

there are a lot of regulations formed over the years which are hampering growth too, but we have people fighting and inshallah one day the day is not too far when we can be proud of the metropolis..

till then, we must play our part… upcoming leaders we are remember :p

mansoor, as I mentioned… other cities (mostly) do something about those problems in a serious manner… and most problems are solved… but in Karachi… even though we see rapid development… but the problems being faced by the residents are still there… specially security and power… and not much is happening to make it better.

And I have lived in enough cities to do the comparison. And it hurts me to the core to see Karachi in such a state… because… well… it’s my city!

umar, many cities suffer problems and you feel the worst is in yours because you are happening to live through them.

if you go4 a visit, everything seems fine, but you of all people should know the difficulties of living in other cities.

Hi there,this is so sad that ppl ok karachi are going through so many bad things..but i want to know is it like everywhere in karachi ..i mean some areas or areas like clifton and defence are also having the same problems?since its been more than two years when the last time i was in karachi,so i have no idea.
