There might be many opinions about, some in favour of and some against, the valentine’s day.
Some say it’s a waste of time and money, some say why reserve only one day for love, and some just fall for the commercial appeal and spend like crazy to make their loved ones happy.
True lovers can use any excuse to celebrate their love. And they do exactly that on v’ day. I love my wife and I express it with utmost passion every day, but v’ day makes me do it in a special way. I use it as an excuse to go the extra mile and tell her how much I love her. It’s little things like these that fill up the life with happiness. And it doesn’t take a lot of effort.
You can come up with ten thousand reasons to not avail a chance to make your loved ones happy, and you can use any minor reason to cherish your love. V’ day is a reason. Why worry about social values, culture, religion, ethics… just celebrate your love.

love you too baby!
now, you are making me curious… wats in store for the day?
amen to that buddy! have a rocking v’day!
I don’t have a problem with this day because of social, religious or any reasons other than commercial. I am all for showing your love for your significant other and going beyond the call of duty (I’ve been married for a while so it’s a duty), but when I am told that I can only show my love by buying this or that expensive item, that’s when I get angry at this day.
Admittedly, the day had nothing to do with its own commercialization, but then who am I going to blame; my wife? She’ll kill me.
