I am trying to get my writing spirit back, so bear with these random ramblings.
Consturction is fun. It’s a real test of nerves. If you really want to know someone well, ask him to build a house. If he is able to retain his sanity by the end of it, you can marry him or make him president of your company or give him any responsibity because he will do it with flair. Latest phase that I and my family went through in getting our house renovated was selecting the colors for walls. It’s hard to imagine an entire wall painted with the colors shown in shade cards. This pink shade looks neat, but will it look equally good when painted in my room? How about ash grey? And this shade of beige, it looks perfect! And hence all the colors were selected. I don’t even want to start talking about selecting lights for my room. Sometimes too much choice is bad for you. What would a 6 year old kid do in a candy store? What would a 26 year old chap do in a fancy lights store? Same is the case of choosing tiles for your washroom. There is just too much variety. Matt finish. Gloss Finish. Chinese. Korean. Spanish. Pakistani. High Quality. Low Quality. Salesmen who never stop talking. Shut up! Let me look at them myself, dude! Construction is fun, truly. It will polish your personality.
