After a lot of pruning, I have exactly 110 feeds in my reader (RSS Bandit) - I am probably one of the few people who don't use an online reader, mainly because it can download feeds in the background, and I like the UI. As the bloggers.pk feed has over 100 pakistani blogs aggregated, so the total count becomes over 100. This amounts to about 1000 or so news items daily, some to be skimmed, some to be read in detail. As my reading lags during the week, I have to use a few hours during the weekend to get back to the 0 items unread state. Whoa doc, how fast do you read?
