This week I want to know to how many blogs do my readers read.
Blogs have become the biggest source of information these days. You can find a blog on any given topic. If you are reading this, you already read a blog.
What I want to know is how many blogs do people usually follow. Please estimate the number of blogs that you ready frequently and participate in the poll visible on the side bar.
Results will be announced next week.
I have over 500 blogs in my Google reader of which I have over 120 ‘cant live without’ blogs subscribed in my Mobile RSS reader. Yes I remain on an Information overload. Too much for comfort, YEP – but heck its an addiction
Whoa doc, how fast do you read?
After a lot of pruning, I have exactly 110 feeds in my reader (RSS Bandit) – I am probably one of the few people who don’t use an online reader, mainly because it can download feeds in the background, and I like the UI. As the bloggers.pk feed has over 100 pakistani blogs aggregated, so the total count becomes over 100.
This amounts to about 1000 or so news items daily, some to be skimmed, some to be read in detail. As my reading lags during the week, I have to use a few hours during the weekend to get back to the 0 items unread state.

I fall in the 50-100 blogs segment. I keep finding new blogs every other day and my reading list is quickly growing. I am thinking I will join on the 100+ group in few months
