Off to the Netherlands

I am flying out tonight to the Netherlands. This is going to be my first time in Europe since I was 8 years old. So really it’s my first time because the time when I was 8 years old doesn’t really count.

I don’t know if I will be able to blog at all, but I will try my best to update twitter as much as possible. You can follow me here.

  • Ah, The Hague's a nice place. A bit windy from the sea, but it's still a very nice place. Our government is situated there, as well as most embassies and the Dutch UN offices. :-)

    What temperatures are you used to in Dubai?
  • Bas - Istanbul Expat » in summer we get over 40C and on worst days we get over 50C
  • Be prepared for rain. I'm not saying it will rain, but it's very likely to rain ;-)
