New car makes you arrogant

The other day I was driving through narrow lanes of Zamzama and suddenly I found myself in the middle of a congested bottleneck, where vehicles from opposite directions were trying to pass each other through a spot wide enough to allow only one vehicle. It was a royal mess.

I decided to stay away from the warzone and parked my car on one side of the road, and started waiting patiently for the road to clear up. As I watched the vehicles passing by me, one at a time, I spotted a brand new black Honda Civic in front of me. Surprisingly, the driver of the Civic stopped in front of me and signalled me to move my car back so he can pass. That startled me as there was plenty of space on my right from where he could easily drive by, and a dozen cars had already passed from there. Yet he continued to be arrogant. That’s when I decided to stay firm. I told him I am not moving an inch and he will have to pass me by through that space, otherwise can both stand there all night long.

After a few moments of hasitation, he slowly advanced and begun to pass by me. When he reached close enough to me to talk, he said his car is big and needs more space! I was like wow! When Toyota Prado can pass from there then how big is a Civic. Anyway, I told him all the cars have passed and you can do it to. He said his car looks better than other cars.

That’s when I decided to end the conversation and rolled up my window. He also quietly passed away.

Man, that was some attitude. Just because you have a new car doesn’t mean rest of the world is your slave. If you are so worried then why do you bring you car into narrow streets. Stay on the highway, please.
