natural born lucky

Some people are born lucky.

They get everything right. Every task is a smooth ride. They have never seen the face of hardship. They are spoon fed at every phase of life. Everything they do becomes easy.

Life, to them, is perfection, because they have never seen anything gone wrong.

They don’t know how it feels to achieve something after working really hard for it.

They are not familiar with the true meaning of success, and the agony of failure, and the spirit of not giving up and keep trying until the end.

They get everything they desire, and the things they never asked for. For such people, the world is a playground, and every moment is a joy.

They have a careless attitude towards things that might be a big deal for others but to them it’s just another walk in the park. They live a carefree life and never worry about anything. They are immune to all the chaotic activities going around them and they enjoy their life enclosed in their own shell, from which they never come out.

They are envied by other less fortunate souls who come across their path, who might be more talented and hard working, but not as blessed. When those hard working people look at those lucky people, they wonder if the world is really fair. They wonder why they don’t get the deserved outcome of their struggle. They are astonished by the successful lifestyle of those people and try to figure out why they deserve all that they have. And why they don’t have what they deserve.

They just don’t get the fact that the world is not fair. The world is a mean, mean place to live. Everyone doesn’t get the equal share of fairness and no matter how hard you try, at the end of the day if you are not lucky you are just wasting your time. Period. That’s how the world works. That’s what it all boils down to, Luck. You have to be the right person at the right place at the right time. If the equation gets slightly unbalanced, you’ve lost it all.

Welcome to reality.
