No it’s not a movie review.
My best friend just got married, and the fact that he got married few months before my marriage turned out to be a good experience for me. Since I was with him all the time, I got to observe closely the wedding arrangements, and learnt some lessons along the way. I learnt where to get important stuff, how to arrange things in the right way and at the right time, what to be careful of, what can go wrong, and what goes wrong no matter how hard to try to make it right. But the most important lesson I learnt was that a wedding is a wedding. It doesn’t matter if it’s organized in weeks or took months of planning. From a third person’s point of view, it’s all the same. For those who are involved in arranging the wedding, it might be a nightmare. It’s not easy to do things within the budget, to try and make all your relatives happy. There is always something left out, something missing, something that never occurred to you until it was too late. But common people who just come to attend the reception only care about how good the food tastes. So it’s not worth it to take the peculiarities of the wedding arrangements on your nerves. This specially applies to the bride and the groom. They are the most helpless souls. No matter how much they complain against things, they are mostly ignored. So the best thing for them to do is sit back and enjoy. Things are bound to be imperfect. What’s more important for them is that they stay calm, don’t panic, and enjoy all the phases of wedding and start their new life with new enthusiasm.

hehee… i’m checking your blog now.
