Ok. So, I have the new wireless connection, a new cell phone with integrated camera and all, but still I haven’t been able to start moblogging. That’s because of two main reasons. First, I am having problem using warid’s GPRS and MMS. I can’t seem to be able to send emails from my cell phone. I am sure this has more to do with my cell phone configuration and I will fix that pretty soon.
The bigger problem is setting up wordpress to receive the email with picture attachment and post it on my blog. The plugins available for that are either broken, or doesn’t work with the current version of wordpress, or are too difficult to configure with my mail server. In a perfect world I would write my own plugin. But it seems like I will have to do something with what is available. I have been playing with this plugin for a couple of days. But I am unable to forward the emails sent to my moblog address to the script. My mail server doesn’t seem to support this (or maybe it does but I can’t get it working). As much as I am eager to start moblogging, it’s proving to be a non-trivial thing to set up. It’s too early for me to give up, though. I am sure I will figure something out.
I shall also post a detailed review on Sony Ericsson K300i in few days. So look forward to that.
