I can’t read long books because I am a slow reader.
I am reading this book these days (Alipur ka Aily by Mumtaz Mufti), over 1200 pages, and it’s taking me forever. In the meanwhile, I come across countless books that I want to read, but I can’t start a new book until I’ve finished what I am already reading. This gets frustrating after a while, knowing that there are so many good books out there waiting to be read and I can’t finish one book.
So I’ve just made a rule to prevent that from happening.
I have decided that I will not touch books more than 250 pages long. That way I will be able to finish a book in a timely manner and read more books over a course of time.
But right now, I have to finish this book. I still have to read 1000 pages.

Last summers I finished 10-12 books of on avg 7-800 pages in merely a week … yes i was completely farigh then
haha… yes i have finished 800-page books in a day, but i was also free at that time. Things are pretty different now.
