I was told that Dubai becomes a ghost town duing July-August because everyone goes on vacations.
Well, we are into fourth week of July and nothing much has changed yet. It is slightly less congested on roads but everything else is still the same. In fact the traffic was worse than normal last night.
Talk about vacations, I really so no point in vacationing back home in Karachi during summer because weather is just as hot there as Dubai. Add power and fuel and food crisis and mix it up with lawlessness and it becomes a big no.
I am happy in Dubai as it is.
