ipod: so close, yet so far

just when i am ready to buy an ipod, just when i am about to go the ipod website and enter my credit card number and order an ipod mini,

i am having second thoughts about it.

here’s the thing. i think i need a compact digital camera. something thats small enough to fit in a pocket. something that can be carried all the time. like a second gadget after cell phone.

the camera i currently own, the canon g3, is one gem of a camera. i am still exploring the features in it and it continues to impress me everytime i use it.

but it is a bit bulky. it cannot fit in a pocket. it cannot be carried all the time. it cannot be carried to the coffee joint, the mall, the school, and anywhere else.

i want to be able to carry a camera all the time. so that i can take it out and snap at anything that i see interesting. i see pictures everywhere i go and wish having a camera all the time.

i really need an ultra compact camera. maybe another canon. maybe a casio. i will carry it with me all the time and take a lot of pictures. i will carry the canon g3 on planned trips where i want to do some serious photography.

maybe then my blog will be more interesting. maybe then i will be able to put together a photo essay.

just like tony does.

maybe. just maybe.

but i cannot afford an ipod mini and a digital camera. i have to pick one of them.

and thats the toughest decision.

i really love the ipod mini and i would love to carry my music with me where ever i go.

but if i didnt take lots of pictures then my thirst for photography will never be quenched.

what do i do. which one do i pick. i will have to figure out something.

something has to be figured out.
