I started blogging back in January 2004. Yes I am an old blogger but didn’t actively start blogging since maybe one year ago.
I was reading a few blogs back then and decided to start my own thinking I would have plenty of things to say. But it turned out that I kept struggling to find a topic for my blog until I moved to Dubai and decided to focus on Dubai related topics. This seems to be working for me as I have noticed considerable increase in traffic and readers over the last few months.
If you want to start blogging, I recommend using your own domain name (not necessarily your name) for it. Trust me, you will be better off then using the free blogging platforms. All you need is a domain name and a web hosting solution. If you need any help in starting your own blog I shall be more than glad to help you out.
