Although Dubai is not for the lovers of frugal lifestyle, but there are ways to get the most out of your money. In this new series I will discuss ways to save money in Dubai. This is the first part.
Avoid malls. Seriously, whatever is sold at the malls can be bought at much lesser cost at other places, like souks in Bur and Diera Dubai. The only difference is it will not carry the same same brand tag as they do in the malls. Malls are for tourists. Residents go to souks.
I admit this could be a little difficult during summers when temperatures rise to 50C, but during winters it is very manageable.
