There are times when you meet someone.
And you like them.
And they like you.
They are impressed by you.
They are impressed by your talent, your achievements, your potential, your taste in music, and art, and fashion. You are equally impressed by them. You realize you haven’t met someone as inspirational in recent months, or years.
All the time you spend together is perfect. It’s wonderful. You have one of the best times in your life.
Deep inside your heart you know you are not that good. You are not that talented. You haven’t really achieved anything to be proud of. Your potential is that of a paper weight. You have only superficial knowledge of art and music.
You were only successfull in leaving a great first impression. Nothing more, nothing less.
What would you do next? Would you meet that person again, knowing that they might find out the reality about you? You realize things won’t be as wonderful and sweet after few meetings. Would you still meet them again?
Or you would vow never to meet them again and live forever in the memories of that perfect meeting, for it will always remain perfect in your mind?
