I got a facial treatment first time in my life. Does that make me a metrosexual? Or do I have to do something else? Not that I want to be a metrosexual, I am just curious.
So how was it? Well, I am not sure if I like it or not. The way I am, I have to do something a few times before making an opinion about it. That means I will have to get a couple of more facials to truly appreciate its worth (or worthlessness, for that matter).
However, I didn’t notice any difference on my face after the treatment. It was still same old ugly me. But the girl who did my facial (Yes!! It was a girl, and the face massage was amazing. Save that for another post) said there was a difference, and my friend who was with me also said my face looks “cleaner” (which makes me think, did I have a dirty, filthy, greasy face before?).
When I got home, I didn’t tell anyone about the facial. I wanted to see if my family notices the difference. Alas, no one said a thing. Not even a word. It was confirmed that the facial had no effect on me whatsoever. Otherwise someone in my family would have noticed it.
Damn, all that money wasted for nothing.

“A straight man who embraces the homosexual lifestyle, i.e. refined tastes in clothing, excessive use of designer hygiene products, etc. Usually is on the brink of homosexuality.”
now that doesn’t sound too good
what the hell’s a facial anyway?
I guess that makes you at metrosexual, I’v never noticed a difference with facials, but they sure are relaxing so I get one done a couple of times a year anyway.
yeah this is a scam that females have invented for males to pay for things that make no sense to them and its just your paycheque going into a void of nothingness.
I think to be a true metrosexual you have to get your manicures and pedicures done too. Now that would be quite an experience!
samar: i plan to get that done on my wedding day, in addition to the “more expensive” facial!
abbas: true that… women have taken all the sanity out of this world
Toh shaadi ki tayarian abhi se start. I haven’t had it but I guess it doesn’t do any good. Money waster.
Go and get your eyebrow pierced =p, that is an experience.
I remember a family friend who got his first facial on his wedding…BAD DECISION…we had a GROOM with RED FACE in all the photos…
Might as well get all such aspirations fulfilled before marriage…You dont take risks on your wedding….
Facial????????????? My God.. I wouldn’t do that but yes face massage!!!!
Rough and tough buddy……. thats the way
