I got lucky yesterday as I got hold of free tickets to the semi final of Duabi Women’s Tennis 2009. All the credit goes to the blogosphere and twitter. Who said blogging is without any perks.
Anyway, so I got the tickets and went straight to the place where the game was to be played between Sarena and Venus Williams. I only had my camera phone with me so I had no option but to use what I had, even though I knew it doesn’t take the best quality pictures. On top of that I was forced to use digital zoom to get the close-up shot of players, which further deteriorated the quality of the pictures.
Nevertheless, I uploaded all the pictures and you can view them here. It was a great game and both players played amazingly. In the end Venus Williams won but it could have been her sister as well. The third set was very tight.
