Ok, I have completed 8 out of 20 classes that I am supposed (being forced) to take.
The first 10 classes are inside the compound where all I have to do is drive the car in circles. It was ok initially but now it has become so boring that I almost fell asleep during my last class. And I still have to take 2 more classes before I can drive in the streets!
After 16 classes I will get the date for signal test, in which I will have to identify various road signs and signals. People pass this test easily so I am not much worried about it. It’s the road test that seems tough.
For arguable reasons, it is very rare for anyone to pass the road test on first attempt. Although I know at least two friends who passed the test on first attempt but I also know a few who have been unable to pass it even after 2 or 3 attempts. Another co-worker of mine just passed the test on his third attempt. So it’s really a mystery as to what it takes to pass the road test.
Needless to say, I am determined to pass my test on first attempt. Unless they deliberately fail me I don’t think I will have any problem passing my road test. Sounds overconfident? Only time will tell!
Of course I will keep you guys updated whenever I make an attempt.

All the best!
