Finally, after ending careers, and lives, the world cup is over. Australia outplayed every other team and deserved to be the world champions third time in a row. No doubts about that.
We saw cricket at its peak and we saw cricket at its lowest bottom, all in one tournament.
But in the end, it’s just a game, another form of entertainment, sure there are many who make a living from this game, but for common people it’s just entertainment. Being emotional over it, and taking it on your nerves, is nothing but stupid.
It’s just a game. Nothing more than that.

Well it was happening to say the least…so many events and upsets and also some career ending moments for stars of the era…quite happening…I must say but yeah its just a game….

hmm- my innate dislike for the aussies refuses to allow me to be generous about their win but yeah (grumble) they did deserve to win. blah. one of the worst world cups ever na?
yeah… as much as we hate australia… we have to admit they are good.
