busblog mini

I finally have something in common with my favorite blogger Tony Pierce, the author of busblog.

We both travel by bus.

The things that are not in common is that he is famous, funny, great writer, and he scores chicks left and right. I am none of those.

So I take the liberty of calling my blog busblog mini. I know it doesn’t even comapre with the original busblog. But doesn’t every kid want to be like muhammad ali sometime during his life?

busblog has hundreds of readers worldwide. I only have half a dozen or so. And most of them are my friends who read my blog just because they know me.

Every post at busblog gets dozens of comments within minutes of posting. I feel overwhelmed if I get more than one comment in a week.

busblog gets thousands of visits every day. I don’t even bother checking my hits ‘cuz i know it would be a single digit.

Tony Pierce has a way with words. He inspires every time he writes. I find myself struggling to find the right words to convey my message in a way that readers would understand it.

Tony is bold and fearless. He never cares who reads his blog and what they might think after reading it. He just writes whatever is in his heart. I keep wondering what would happen if Mr. xyz read this, or maybe I shouldn’t write this because it might hurt my image. Countless times I have refrained from posting stuff because of that fear.

Tony posts pictures of hot women on his blog. I post pathetic, pointless pictures from my camera and I like to call it art.

Ladies love tony pierce. I never get a second look from a member of opposite sex.

See tony, I could never be like you. Even if i lived to be 111. I don’t have that talent. I dont have that mind. I am not you.

But I can be happy once in a while for a reason as simple as traveling by bus and thinking this is what tony does.

“But doesn’t every kid want to be like muhammad ali sometime during his life?”

Oh, I didn’t know I have become so popular back home! I thinks it is due to the software that I wrote in the last few years. Thanks for telling me.

  • And he’s not You!

    Well written :)

@Shahg: Haha. Might be because of the exercise you did in the last few years :P

  • umar

err… im sorry to disappoint you ali, but i meant muhammad ali, the boxer.
    But you’re not bad, too.

  • nice writeup – with your writing style i am sure you can someday reach his stature with time, but then you will have to forego all your dreams of communiting via a car ;) -

  • 5 Comments. At least this is a step towards the top.

  • Glad to find a Siddiqi here. Lol.

After reading your post, I believe you write better than a lot many people. Better than me!
Bro, dont get jealous of Tony. He’s he and you’re you. Maybe something is good in you and Tony lacks that quality.
Dont worry about the blog traffic. Someday, it will be in thousands or even more. I also used to cry at my traffic when I started my blog. But then, you know gradual success is what true success is. (Now thats what I beleive. You may have different views…lol) ….

Mohammed Ali, the boxer? I thought you were talking bout Jinnah. Anyway, both are great men!

Sorry, if any of my words offended you, but then no sorry….I am like that….I should have been an orator. What do you say? ;)
    Happy blogging
    Cheerio!!!
