A game of nerves

I know it’s a little late to talk about this match, as it’s been a week and every cricket lover is done praising the performance of both the teams. Still, here is how I feel about the match.

The way I see it, the South African team has some nerves. Even thinking about chasing the biggest score ever made would drive any captain crazy. But South African team made it happen. I am sure they must have discussed about it and made a game plan to chase the total, and they followed that plan. Had it been Pakistani cricket team, they would have given up before even starting their innings. They would never have attempted to win the game and would have been content in just surviving the 50 overs.

So what’s the lesson that we learn from this game? Never give up, even in the most desparate situations. Stick to your plan no matter what and in the end success will be yours. It takes great courage to take on the challenges and I see that courage in South African cricket team.
