After my last training session I was given an assessment test by the institute.
They do it to check if you are good enough to pass the actual road test. If you are lacking they give you extra classes. Word is out that driving schools give extra classes to everyone no matter how good they are, so that they can make more money.
Regardless, I took the test with confidence and made no mistakes in making the turns, changing lanes, and parking. Yet, after the test he gave me 5 more classes. When I asked him what did I do wrong the tester said I need more practice. Yeah right! I would love to do more practice but not when it costs me 100 dirhams for each class. Just let me take the road test already. Alas, I had no other option but to accept my fate.
I did get the date for signal test though. It’s on April 20. In signal test you have to identify various road signs. This test is easy and everyone passes it so I am not very nervous about it.

That stupid uncle asked me ajeeb ajeeb se road signs which you don’t see normally. I said, “There are no such signs on the roads I drive”. Lol! And he stamped my documents for a re-test! Lolz
But this was Pakistan, don’t know about UAE. I hope there are no signs with cattles made on them.
