2008 Honda CR-V Test Drive Review

2007 Honda CR-V photographed in USA.Image via Wikipedia Today I test drove Honda CR-V and the experience was almost mind blowing. I have never driven such technologically advanced vehicle before. Of course these are the perks of living in Dubai that it opens the world for you by making everything available.

The first thing that I noticed in the vehicle was that the gear was just below the dashboard under the A/C and music player, instead of being in the middle of driver and front passenger seat as it usually is in other vehicles. This created the room for the storage compartment in the front row.

Second thing about the vehicle is that although it is an SUV but it feels just like a sedan. Except for the elevated view everything else is just like operating a sedan car. I guess that’s what cross-over means.

The features that impressed me were real time fuel consumption monitor, average fuel consumption and range with the remaining fuel. These features will surely make you a better driver in the long run.

The interior of the car is pretty impressive and quite roomy. Specially in the back seats there is plenty of leg room which is usually lacking even in the biggest of sedans.

Honda CR-V didn’t feel underpowered at all, as it is generally said about it. Here’s the thing. This vehicle is not made for off-road adventure. As long as you stay on the road you will never face power issues with this car. If you want to go off-road then you should consider buying Nissan X-Terra.

I don’t have any issues with the car. It’s a no brainer. I am most likely to buy a Honda CR-V in next few days.
